I love this quote. It speaks volumes. Children should be recongized for who they are as well as listened to. Their voice should be heard, understood, and believed. This is how we build confidence in childen.
I like that quote also it changes the old saying from back in the early 1900's that children should be seen but not heard. It is great that society is finally taking in consideration that children should be heard, seen and understood because they have a lot to teach us as adults.
What an amazing quote! It makes me sad that at one time we the view that was shared was that they shouldn't be heard. Children have so much to add to our society. I love to listen to their perspective on things because they come from such a place of honesty.
